Langcourt Ltd. was established in England in 1984 to offer a repair service for chrome, nikasil™, and electrofusion™ coated engine cylinder bores. Most of the cylinders that we saw in those early days were from road racing bikes, dirt bikes and shifter karts. In 1994 we opened a purpose built facility in Auburn, Alabama to service the American market, and in 1999 we were proud to be able to announce a joint venture in Vancouver, British Columbia, to expand our services still further. Over the years, we have developed our processes but have kept to our specialty of cylinder plating and repair work. The range of applications has grown, but we have resisted the temptation to get involved in porting, crank rebuilding and other specialized "tuning" work to focus on what we know and understand. We have worked on cylinders from just about everything from radio controlled model airplanes to offshore racing boats and Formula 1 and Indy cars, and we have the knowledge and expertise to solve your cylinder problem. We try hard to offer a quick and efficient service, and most orders are completed within 5 to 7 working days. Our target is to give our customers a consistent 5 working day turnaround but schedules may change depending on workload, and so if turnaround time is very important to you, please contact us for the latest position. |
